There is great news for the youth dreaming of government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment process of 45 thousand home guards has started in the state. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has activated the One Time Registration (OTR) link for this recruitment. This means that now any candidate who wants to join this recruitment will be required to undergo OTR first. Application of any candidate will not be accepted without OTR.
Any candidate who wants to be a part of this recruitment process can easily register by visiting uppbpb.gov.in website. According to the recruitment board, the detailed notification and examination schedule of this recruitment will be released soon. It is believed that its notification may come by the end of November.
Who will have to get OTR done?
Now one time registration system has been implemented for all police recruitments in UP. This means that candidates will not need to fill their information again and again every time they apply. Once they complete the OTR process, their information will be automatically filled in the application form.
Candidates who have already done OTR do not need to register again. But for those who are applying for the first time, OTR is necessary. A video has also been released on the board’s website in which it has been explained how to do the registration and what things should be kept in mind.
Recruitment notification soon
It has been told by UPPRPB that the official notification of Home Guard Recruitment 2025 will be available on the website soon. It will be told in the notification how many seats have been kept for which category.
In this recruitment, candidates will be able to apply only for their permanent district. That is, if a candidate is a resident of Prayagraj, then he will apply for his district only. Apart from this, persons who have been dismissed before from the service of any municipal body or against whom any criminal case is registered will not be eligible for this recruitment.
What will happen in the selection process?
For selection in Home Guard recruitment, candidates will be required to pass the Physical Efficiency Test. This test will include various fitness parameters like running, high jump, long jump. After this the documents of the candidates will be scrutinized. The recruitment process will be completely transparent and in online mode, so that there is no possibility of any kind of irregularities.
Do one time registration like this
- First of all candidates go to uppbpb.gov.in website.
- Click on the “One Time Registration (OTR)” link given there.
- Now enter your active email ID and mobile number. Keep in mind, these cannot be changed later.
- After this, enter the number of any one identity card like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License or Passport.
- Then fill the name, date of birth and other details as per your 10th mark sheet.
- You can get 10th class information from DigiLocker or enter it manually.
- After submission, confirmation of your registration will be sent to your mobile number and email.
