The country’s largest oil company IOCL has invited applications for the posts of Junior Engineer in its various refinery and petrochemical units. The application process is online and eligible candidates can apply in time.
How many posts will be recruited?
IOCL will fill a total of 394 posts through this recruitment. These recruitments will be done in many major refinery units of the country like Guwahati, Barauni, Vadodara, Haldia, Mathura, Panipat, Digboi, Bongaigaon and Paradip.
Ability
For this recruitment, the candidate must have 3 years diploma in related trade Chemical Engineering, Electrical / Electronics, Instrumentation, Refinery / Petrochemicals from a recognized institute. At least 50% marks are required for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while 45% marks are required for SC / ST candidates.
age limit
Talking about the age limit for the candidates, the minimum age to apply for IOCL Recruitment 2025 has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 26 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated as on 31st December 2025. That is, by this date the age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 26 years. However, as per government rules, reserved categories will also be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
application fee
Talking about the application fee, General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to deposit around Rs 300 to Rs 500 while applying for IOCL Recruitment 2025. This fee will be paid through online mode. However, SC, ST and disabled category candidates have been given complete exemption in the application fee. That means candidates of these categories will not have to pay any fees.

Selection in IOCL recruitment will be in two phases.
- written examination
- objective type questions
- Skill/Proficiency Test
This will be only qualifying. Marks will not be added in this. The final merit will be made on the basis of written examination.
How much salary will you get?
The selected candidates in IOCL Recruitment 2025 will be given an attractive salary by the company. According to the official information, the candidates appointed to the post of Junior Engineer will get a salary ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1,05,000 per month. Along with this, the employees will also be given dearness allowance, house rent allowance, medical facility, provident fund, and other government benefits.
