There is good news for the youth waiting for government jobs. Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has issued notification for new recruitment on Plant Assistant posts for the year 2025. This is a great opportunity for the candidates who are looking for a permanent job in a government department, because this recruitment provides good salary, career growth and all the facilities of the state government.
If you have completed 10th and ITI, then you can apply for this recruitment. The company has fixed the online application process from December 1, 2025 to December 30, 2025. Therefore, candidates should keep their documents ready and apply within the stipulated time.
What should be the total number of posts and recruitment eligibility?
A total of 90 posts will be filled through this recruitment. These posts are divided into two different trades like Mechanical and Electrical. In which Mechanical Trade includes 53 posts and Electrical Trade will be recruited on 37 posts.
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board. It is necessary to have regular ITI pass from NCVT or SCVT in any related trade like Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Wireman etc. Apart from this, UR and MP-OBC should be 65 percent, MPPGCL employees should be 60 percent and SC, ST, EWS and PwBD should be 55 percent in ITI. Keep in mind, only ITI done from recognized institutes will be valid.
What will be the salary in Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited Recruitment?
Selected candidates will get a salary ranging from Rs 25,300 to Rs 80,500 per month as per Level-6 pay matrix. Initially candidates will have to complete a probation period of 9 months. During this period, not the entire salary, but a certain percentage of the salary will be given as stipend. On successful completion of probation, full salary starts.
exam pattern
A total of 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in this recruitment examination. Out of these, 75 questions will be from related trade and 25 questions will be from general knowledge and general aptitude. The entire exam will be of 100 marks. The type of questions in the exam will be objective and there will be no negative marking. The medium of examination will be both Hindi and English, so that all categories of candidates can get convenience. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the students in Computer Based Examination (CBT) i.e. the selection will completely depend on the performance obtained in CBT.
