The Border Security Force (BSF) has a great opportunity for the youth who dream of a job. BSF has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 3588 posts of Constable (Tradesman). Of these, 3406 posts are reserved for male candidates and 182 posts are reserved for women candidates. The application process for these posts has started and interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 23 August 2025. The application can be made on the official website of BSF rectt.bsf.gov.in.
Age limit
To apply for these posts, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age should be 25 years. According to the rules of the government, the age limit will be given to the candidates of the reserved category. Candidates of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) will get 5 years and other Backward Class (OBC) candidates will get 3 years exemption.
Examination fee
The application fee has been fixed at ₹ 100. However, SC/ST class and all women candidates will not have to pay any fee. The fee will be paid online through online.
Educational qualification and pay scale
The candidate has passed class 10th from a recognized board. Also, a two -year certificate course is also mandatory in the relevant trade. The selected candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs 21,700 to 69,100 per month.
Selection process
- First step – Physical Standard Testing (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Second phase – Written test
- third step – Document verification
There will be a total of 100 questions in the written examination, which will be of 100 marks. The questions will be from general awareness, mathematics, English and Hindi subjects. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and all the questions will be of class 10th level.

- Login by entering the name, email ID and mobile number.
- Fill the personal information sought and upload the necessary documents, photos and signature.
- If applicable, submit the exam fee.
