Recruitment to posts of Professor and Associate Professor in Delhi University, application from October 7

Delhi University has issued a notification for recruitment for a total of 56 posts of Professor and Associate Professor. The application process for this recruitment will start from October 7, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website www.du.ac.in.

There are 35 posts of Associate Professor and 21 posts of Professor are available in this recruitment. Overall, 56 candidates will be selected.

For the post of Professor, the candidate should have a PhD degree in the relevant subject. In addition, the master’s degree requires a minimum of 55% marks. There should be at least 10 years of teaching or research experience. The candidate should also have at least 10 research publication and 120 research marks.

For Associate Professor, the candidate should have a PhD degree in the relevant subject. A minimum of 55% marks in master’s degree are mandatory. There should be at least 8 years of teaching or research experience. Along with this, the candidate must have at least 7 research publication and 75 research marks according to UGC.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview. Selected candidates will be given great salary.

Rs 2,000 for general category candidates, Rs 1,500 for OBC and EWS, Rs 1,000 for SC/ST and Rs 500 for PWBD.

First go to the official website of Delhi University www.du.ac.in. After this, go to the “Work With du” section and click on “Jobs and Opportunities”. Open the online application form and fill the information sought. Upload required documents such as educational certificates, photos and signatures. After filling all the information carefully, submit the form and keep a printout of the application.
