- The second ‘P’ is ‘Pick Healthy Fat’, which means- choose healthy fat in the diet. ‘Good fat’ is fats that help in reducing heart disease, cholesterol levels and obesity in the body, in addition to contributing to the body’s functioning smoothly. These are monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat, which you should pay attention to. Fats obtained from nuts, seeds or olive oil are good examples of ‘good fat’.
- The third is ‘P’ – ‘Power Your Plate with Balanced Nutrition’ – This is about maintaining a balanced diet. A balanced diet has a balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat. Many experts advise to keep a gap of at least four hours between two miles. This gives the body enough time to digest food, which plays an important role in better digestion. Therefore, you should get rid of the habit of eating something unnecessarily again and again. Apart from this, according to Ayurveda, food should be chewed and chewed. Do not drink water while eating. However, you can drink water half an hour before and after meals.
- The fifth ‘P’ is- ‘pay attention to poresons and food choice’ means to choose your food and pay special attention to its quantity.
