If you are dreaming of becoming a doctor and want to take admission in medical college after 12th, then this news is very important for you. NTA has started the registration process for NEET UG 2026. The last date to apply is 8 March 2026 and the form will not be accepted after 9 pm. NEET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in a total of 13 languages. Students can choose the language as per their convenience. The examination will be conducted in Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu languages. Students from different states of the country get a chance to take the examination in their mother tongue, which makes it easier for them to understand.
When will the exam be held?
NEET UG 2026 exam will be conducted on 3 May 2026. The exam time will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. This examination will be in offline i.e. pen and paper mode and its total duration will be 3 hours. Questions will be asked from three subjects in the examination, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This examination is considered very important for the students who want to go into the medical line.

In which courses will you get admission?
Through NEET UG, admission is available in government and private medical colleges of the country. After passing this exam, students can become MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS i.e. if your dream is to become a doctor, dentist or Ayurvedic doctor, then it is necessary to pass NEET exam. Without NEET, admission is not available in these courses.
How much will the application fee be?
For NEET UG 2026, the application fee for different categories of students has been kept separate, Rs 1,700 for general category, Rs 1,600 for EWS and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Rs 1,000 for SC, ST, PwBD and Third Gender. For students applying from outside India, the fee will have to be paid through online mode. Rs 9,500.
