JEE Mains Registration: The application process for JEE Main 2026, the country’s largest engineering entrance process, has started. National Testing Agency has issued its notification. According to the notification, registration for JEE Main has started from tomorrow i.e. 31st October. Those candidates who want to take admission in courses like B.Tech, BE, B.Arch or B.Planning can apply till 27 November 2025. The application process will be completely online and for this the candidates will have to visit the official website of NTA and fill the form.
JEE Main 2026 Fees and Eligibility
The application process of JEE Main 2026 will continue till 11:50 pm on 27 November 2025. Candidates will also have to deposit the fees by 27th. Apart from this, the application fee for male candidates of general category has been kept at Rs 1000, for OBC and EWS category at Rs 900 and for female candidates at Rs 800. Whereas for SC, ST, Transgender and Disabled candidates the fee has been fixed at Rs 500. Apart from this, no age limit has been fixed to apply for JEE Main 2026 exam, candidates who have passed class 12th in 2024 or 25 or are going to appear in 2026 can apply. However, in 12th, the candidate must have one of the subjects Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Technical Vocational subject along with Physics and Maths.
These documents are necessary before application
NTA has advised the candidates to keep all their important documents updated before applying. These include Aadhar card, UDID card and category certificate. Candidates must ensure that the information on their Aadhar card like name, date of birth, address and photo is correct. Also, all this information matches with the 10th class marksheet. By doing this there will be no possibility of the form being rejected.
More exam date patterns
According to the notification issued by NTA, JEE Main exam will be conducted in two sessions. In which the first session will be held between January 21 and January 30. Whereas the second session will be held from 1 April to 10 April 2026. Information about the exam city of the first session will be released in the first week of January. The admit cards will be issued 3 to 4 days before the examination and the result will be declared by 12 February 2026. This year there has been no change in the exam pattern, there will be 75 questions in the exam which will be of 300 marks. There will be three subjects in the question paper, which will include Physics, Chemistry and Maths. There will be 25 questions in each subject and four marks will be given for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. There will be no negative marking on questions not attempted.

- After this click on JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration link.
- Now fill the required information and upload the required documents.
- After this pay the fees online and submit the form.
- Lastly, download the confirmation page and take a printout of it.
