The security of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has been changed once again. This change has been made by the center Sir. According to this, the security of the CM of Delhi will now be handed over to Delhi Police.

The central government has withdrawn the ‘Z category’ security of CRPF given to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. This decision has been taken a few days after that attack, due to which he was temporarily given CRPF cover.

CRPF security was given after the attack

On the morning of August 20, Rekha Gupta was attacked by a man during a public hearing at the camp office in Civil Lines. The Chief Minister’s office termed the attack as a “planned conspiracy”. The next day of the attack, the Ministry of Home Affairs directed the CRPF VIP Security Wing to give him Z category security.

According to sources, the central government had earlier prepared an order to provide CRPF security, but later the plan was changed and orders were issued to remove the cover. Now Delhi Police will take over the security of CM Gupta.

2 arrests so far in the attack

Delhi Police has so far arrested two people in this case. These include the main accused 41-year-old Sakirya Rajeshbhai Khimji, who hails from Rajkot in Gujarat and is an auto-rickshaw driver.
