Muqaddar ka sikandar: During the 1970s, one of the most popular on-screen couples in Bollywood- Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha’s affair also spread a lot. His sizzling chemistry rocked the silver screen. However, when the market of rumors of Amitabh’s affairs with Rekha was hot, Big B remained silent. On the other hand, Rekha spoke openly on it. Rekha told the story of ‘Mukaddar Ka Sikander’ trial show. In an interview to Stardust magazine, he revealed that he saw the Bachchan family during the trial show from the projection room.
He had said, “Once, I was looking at the whole (Bachchan) family from the projection room, when she came to see the trial show of ‘Mukaddar Ka Sikandar’. Jaya was sitting in the front and she (Amitabh) and her parents were in the row behind them. They were not able to see them as much as they were able to see. ,

Just a week after that emotional screening, Rekha said that she got to hear whisper in the industry, the whisper was that Amitabh had made a big decision about his work. Rekha had told Stardust, “After a week, everyone in the industry was telling me that he had cleared his makers that he is not going to work with me.” This was a shock for many people. Amitabh and Rekha had given many hit films together, and their pair was liked by the audience. But after ‘Mukaddar Ka Sikander’, he did not appear together again till the 1981 ‘Silsila’, a film that reflected the rumors revolving around his personal life.
