Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor currently has many films in the pipeline. He also has two big budget films in his kitty which include ‘Love and War’ and Nitesh Tiwari’s films ‘Ramayana – Part 1’ and ‘Ramayana – Part 2’. ‘Ramayana – Part 1’ is going to be released in theaters in Diwali 2026. Whereas ‘Ramayana- Part 2’ is going to hit the screens in Diwali 2027. But Ranbir Kapoor has extended the shooting of ‘Ramayana – Part 2’, due to which the release date of the film may also be postponed.
Actually, earlier Ranbir Kapoor was about to finish shooting both the parts of Ramayana. After this, he was going to start preparing for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Love and War’. But now according to the report of Deccan Chronicle, Ranbir has given all the shooting dates of ‘Ramayana – Part 2’ to ‘Love and War’ and now he will start shooting further for Ramayana only after completing the shooting of this film.

It is written in the report- ‘Ranbir had planned to complete both the parts of Ramayana and then complete Bhansali’s “Love and War”. But there is no sign of completion of the film. Therefore, he has no option but to give all the dates scheduled for Ramayana – Part 2 to Bhansali. This means that Part 2 will not reach theaters as scheduled in 2027.
Star cast and release date of ‘Love and War’
Let us tell you that along with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal will also be in lead roles in ‘Love and War’. This film was earlier scheduled to release on March 20, 2026, but the makers have postponed its release date to August 14, 2026.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor also has many more films in the line-up. Apart from ‘Love and War’, Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Ramayana – Part 1’ and ‘Ramayana – Part 2’, he will also be seen in ‘Animal Park’.
