Reliance Jio 5G Awailable in 26 GHz Band in 21 States Union Territories of India

India’s largest telecom company Reliance Jio has introduced a 26GHz band in 21 states and union territories of India or 5G in MMWAVE Frequency. Jio’s 5G is already available in every telecom circle in the 3.3GHz band. It is more expensive to implement the MMWAVE band, while coverage requires a lot of Dancer Network Infrastructure. The 26GHz band or MMWave band will be used through enterprises for special use. In today’s time, every customer can be satisfied with the use of a 3.3GHz band or C-band 5G network in terms of use. Here we are telling you about the states, where 5G is available.

Jio’s 5G network in 26GHz band or mmwave band is available in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Kashmir, Punjab, Orissa, Tripura, Nagaland and Delhi.

Let us tell you that Jio will also provide the 26GHz band 5G service to those enterprises which are needed on demand basis. Reliance Jio had previously confirmed that it has launched MMWAVE 5G in all telecom circles to complete the minimum rollout Obligation (MRO) fixed by the Telecom Department (DOT).

Currently Reliance Jio has more than 170 million 5G customers. By the end of FY 2026, the company’s 5G userbase can cross 230-250 million. Jio has deployed three different bands such as 700 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz band to provide 5G service in India. Apart from Jio in India, only Airtel has started 5G in the whole of India. The Vodafone Idea is still in the initial phase of the 5G rollout, while BSNL is going to start now.
