‘Resolve the matter with mutual understanding’, Delhi HC said this on the property dispute of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sanjay Kapoor.

The ongoing legal battle in Delhi High Court regarding the property of Karisma Kapoor’s late ex-husband Sanjay Kapoor is once again in the headlines. His mother Rani Kapoor, ex-wife Karisma Kapoor through her two children and third wife Priya Sachdev Kapoor are at loggerheads over the property of BusinessMac. During the hearing, the Delhi High Court described the entire dispute as a very sad situation and advised the family to find a solution by mutual consent and seriously consider mediation.

When the dispute regarding Sanjay Kapoor’s property reached the Delhi High Court, Priya Kapoor claimed that in the will made by Sanjay Kapoor in 2025, the entire personal property was transferred to her name. On behalf of Karisma Kapoor, her two children and Sanjay’s mother Rani Kapoor have challenged this will in the court, calling it fake. Rani Kapoor has also called the family’s RK Trust illegal and demanded its cancellation.

Delhi High Court made important comment in the matter
Justice Mini Pushkarna, who is hearing an important case in the Delhi High Court, said that the court is seeing that the entire family is suffering mental and emotional loss due to this dispute. He remarked that God had blessed the family with great wealth. The benefit of which should be available to all and not be wasted in mutual disputes, the Delhi High Court told the lawyer appearing for Priya Kapoor that his client should take further necessary steps for mediation.

Delhi High Court gave advice to all parties
Delhi High Court also said that now Priya is alone and it is necessary to take care of her and the children. The court directed the lawyers of all the parties to talk to their respective clients and tell them whether they are ready for mediation. Rani Kapoor has demanded a ban on giving interim dividend of about Rs 28 crore to Priya Kapoor. Whereas Priya has appealed to dismiss this petition. Notice has been issued on both the petitions. The next hearing of the case will be on March 23.
