Vijender gupta news: A high -level review meeting was held at the Delhi Assembly Secretariat on Friday on the reports of CAG (CAG) under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta. Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht, Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman Ajay Mahawar, Committee (COGU) President Gajendra Drol, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) and Delhi Accountant General Roli Shukla Malge were also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the officials were instructed that the report related to the supply of liquor and regulations should be submitted by April 20, while the Action Technology Report (ATR) should be submitted by 30 April on all other CAG reports.
A detailed presentation was made by the Auditor General Office on the major comments and conclusions of the new CAG’s new audit reports. After this, the status of the Audit Para Monitoring System (APMS) and the action technology notes related to the reports presented in the second session of the assembly was discussed.
Chairman Vijendra Gupta clearly stated that time -bound action on audit comments is necessary and a strong monitoring system is needed to ensure accountability and transparency in the government.
The departmental officers and committee members present in the meeting agreed to further strengthen the institutional coordination regarding compliance with the audit recommendations. The meeting ended with the resolution that control systems for good governance and accountability in the capital would be further strengthened and timely solution to the audit issues.
