It has been a long time since Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left this world. Sushant was found dead in his home in June 2020. Sushant’s family had called it not suicide but murder, after which the case was handed over to CBI. In Sushant’s case, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was accused and she was also in jail for about a month. In the investigation of the case, CBI has said that there is no evidence that Rhea Chakraborty had instigated Sushant to commit suicide. After which Riya was proved innocent in March this year. After CBI gave clean chit to Rhea, Sushant’s family has protested against it.
Sushant’s family says that this report is incomplete and an attempt has been made to hide the truth as part of the superficial investigation. The family has decided to challenge the CBI closure report in the court.
The lawyer said this
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer said- This report is just a pretense. If CBI wanted to bring out the truth, it would have filed evidence like chat records, technical data, statements of witnesses, medical reports, bank statements in the court. This has not been done. We will file a petition against this closure report. This is a weak report which will not hold up in the court.
Let us tell you that CBI had filed two closure reports in March. The first report was based on the complaint of Sushant’s father KK Singh. In which it was alleged that Rhea had instigated Sushant to commit suicide and had misused his property. Secondly, a complaint was lodged against Riya by her sisters. According to CBI report, Sushant had committed suicide. Rhea and Sushant were not living together between June 8-14. Riya and her brother Shouvik left home on June 8.
