Return to the field after injury
When Rishabh Pant was batting in the first innings of the match, Chris Woakes’ ball was hit by his toe. In a statement issued by the BCCI, it was said that Pant has been advised to rest for six weeks, due to which he will stay away from cricket. Pant came back from death
Remind you that in December 2022, there was a terrible road accident of Rishabh Pant. While going to his house on the new year, his car collided with his car divider near Roorkee in Uttarakhand and burnt to ashes. He was badly injured and suffered serious injuries in his knees and back. With the help of local youths, he was taken out of the car and was immediately rushed to the hospital, he underwent surgery in Mumbai and he stayed away from the ground for about two years.
But in the 2024 T20 World Cup, he made a bang and played an important role in getting India a trophy.
