Rishabh Pant will not play in the Test series against the West Indies to be held in early October. Pant suffered a leg injury on the England tour, after which he has been sharing video clips of recovery. Now some sources of BCCI, quoting News 24, have told that their leg swelling has increased and he will not play in the Test series against the West Indies. Earlier, a recent report by ESPN Cricinfo claimed that the strap has been removed from Pant’s leg and he was feeling comfortable walking. But now swelling of his leg has suddenly increased.

Rishabh Pant suffered this injury during the Manchester Test in July. Pant missed the ball in the process of hitting a reverse sweep off the ball of Chris Woakes. Due to this, the ball hit his right toe directly, in which the fracture was done. Despite this serious injury, he batted in the Manchester Test. However, he was dropped from the fifth i.e. the Oval Test.

Dhakad wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant himself has been giving updates on his injury through social media. He did the last post on Instagram about a week ago, in which he was getting a haircut under the tree. It was also seen in that picture that the strap has been removed from Pant’s leg, but he had a bandage on the leg.
