BCCI has announced Team India for two matches against South Africa. Actually, the Senior Men’s Selection Committee has selected the India-A team for two four-day matches to be played against South Africa in Bengaluru. Rishabh Pant has been made the captain of the team. Whereas Sai Sudarshan has been given the vice-captaincy. Test team captain Shubman Gill has not been selected in the 15-member squad, while KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel and Mohammed Siraj are part of the team.
Let us tell you that India A team will play two four-day matches against South Africa from October 30. The first match will be played from 30 October to 2 November and the second match will be played from 6 November to 9 November. KL Rahul and Mohammad Siraj will join the team for the second match. Young Ayush Mhatre has also been included in the team.
Rishabh Pant will return from this series
There is good news for the fans that Rishabh Pant has completely recovered from the injury. He will return to the field with India-A. Pant was injured in England. After this, he did not play in the 2025 Asia Cup, where Team India won the title by defeating Pakistan in the final. After this, Rishabh Pant did not even play the two-match Test series against West Indies. At the same time, he is not a part of Team India even on Australia tour.

India A team for the second four-day match- Rishabh Pant (captain and wicketkeeper), KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), Sai Sudarshan (vice-captain), Devdutt Padikkal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Harsh Dubey, Tanush Kotian, Manav Suthar, Khalil Ahmed, Gurnoor Brar, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep.
