When the IPL 2025 mega auction took place, Rishabh Pant became the most discussion. Lucknow Super Giants bought him for Rs 27 crore and also made the captain of the team. Unfortunately Lucknow could not perform as expected and is out of the playoff race. Pant’s performance in IPL 2025 has also not been special, in which he has been able to score only 135 runs in 12 matches. Due to this poor performance, there was speculation that Pant has been dismissed by the LSG team, Pant himself has revealed his response on this matter.
Rishabh Pant has described these speculation on social media as fake news. He wrote, “I think fake news becomes a topic of more discussion. A little understanding and reliable news can be more helpful than fake news and fake news.”
