Rishabh Pant has not played any cricket matches for almost 3 months. He suffered an injury to the fourth Test match on the England tour, after which he is not playing in the Test series against the Asia Cup, West Indies. There was a fracture in his toe, due to which he has not been selected in the Indian squad for the Australian Tour due to non -recovery. It is now reported that Pant Ranji Trophy can return in the 2025-26 season.

Quoting the Times of India, a BCCI source has said that Rishabh Pant can be declared fully fit by 10 October. His fitness is to be investigated this week and he has to go through a very long recovery process. The BCCI’s medical team does not want to relax about Pant’s fitness.

Rishabh Pant shared a video clip of a workout about a week ago. In this workout, he was also seen doing football drills, cycling and other exercises with the ball. There was no bandage tied on his leg.

Ranji Trophy will return!

If the BCCI medical team gives a clean chit to Rishabh Pant, then he can be seen playing the second match of the season for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy. According to the Times of India, a DDCA official said that Rishabh Pant himself has said that he will be available to play in the Ranji Trophy from October 25.

He himself has not given any statement in this regard when he will join the Delhi team. He says that he wants to get a clean chit from the first medical team. If they return, then Pant can be seen captaining the Delhi team. If Rishabh Pant plays in the Ranji Trophy, he will return during the India-Australia series, because Team India will be on Australian tour at that time.
