According to media reports, Rishabh had come to Delhi to celebrate Diwali and it was here that he said goodbye to the world. Reports say that he suffered a heart attack while he was at home. His age was only 35 years. Let us tell you why 25 percent of the people who die of heart attack are below 40 years of age. Why are the youth falling prey to this?
Why are young people vulnerable?
According to the Indian Heart Association, about 25 percent of heart attacks in India are occurring in people below 40 years of age. According to IHA, India, with 20 percent of the world’s population, is facing 60 percent of the world’s heart disease cases. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in India and is considered a silent epidemic among Indians.
India is known as the diabetes capital of the world. The reason for this is that the rates of diabetes, metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure and smoking are very high among Indians, which increase the risk of heart disease. The report of American organization American College of Cardiology (ACC) says that 1 out of every 5 heart attack patients in America is 40 years of age or less.
Why are heart cases increasing among young people?
Experts say that the increasing rate of heart attacks among youth is due to many reasons. The first reason is that there has been a lot of change in lifestyle these days. People eat more junk food, do less physical activity and like to stay on the screen for a long time.
Apart from this, the second reason is that nowadays the young generation is facing a lot of depression and stress. The stress of job, love and family has a direct impact on the heart of the youth. Apart from this, it also has many genetic characteristics, due to which many people become its victims.
How to protect?
Now let’s talk about how to prevent this. To prevent this, first of all, if you are feeling slight pain or pressure in the chest, then definitely consult a doctor. Apart from this, there are some other symptoms too, such as excessive fatigue, shortness of breath and dizziness, do not ignore them.
Along with this, change your lifestyle. Such as eating a balanced diet and reducing junk food, exercising for at least 30 minutes daily and maintaining distance from smoking and alcohol.
