Rainfall continues from hilly states to plains across the country. Due to heavy rains, the water level of rivers in UP, Bihar and Uttarakhand has increased. In the last two days, water logging has been seen in many places due to rain in the capital Delhi as well as NCR.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of rain on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) in Anand Vihar, Southern area, Pitampura, Laxminagar, Rohini, North Delhi. In such a situation, the temperature is also expected to fall.

Talking about UP, the Meteorological Department has issued alert for torrential rain in many cities today. The Meteorological Department says that along with heavy rains in UP, there is also an alert of lightning in some areas. Alert of heavy rain has been issued in Jhansi, Lilatpur, Agra, Jalaun, Mahoba, Hamirpur. Apart from this, there is also alert of moderate to heavy rains in Bareilly, Banda, Aligarh, Hardoi, Bareilly, Kanpur, Chitrakoot, Unnao, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat and Fatehpur.

Moderate rains are expected in many districts including Patna, the capital of Bihar. Alert of heavy rains has been issued in Araria, Supaul, Kishanganj, Begusarai, Sheikhpura, Nalanda, Khagaria, Begusarai, Nalanda, Gaya. Apart from this, in Banka, West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Siwan, Gopalganj, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Madhubani and Sitamarhi, moderate to light rain is also estimated.
Possibility of sharp weight in Rajasthan
In eastern Rajasthan, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall. A red alert of rain has been issued in the entire area. However, the weather in western Rajasthan is expected to remain normal.
The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to heavy rains at some places in north eastern states including West Bengal, Orissa and Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, lightning and heavy rain is expected in the coastal areas of Malabar.
