Amidst all the speculations going on in the politics of Bihar, Rural Development and Transport Minister Shravan Kumar while talking to ABP News in Chapra strongly attacked the opposition. He clearly said that those who are claiming that JDU MLAs are in touch with them, in fact their own MLAs are in touch with us.
‘Grand alliance has no issues’
Shravan Kumar said that at present the opposition in Bihar is completely dejected and disappointed. Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Grand Alliance do not have any concrete issue left, so they just want to remain in the headlines by spreading all kinds of rumours. He said that the elections in Bihar were held under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and the public has given him the mandate considering him as the center point.
Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister – Shravan Kumar
The minister bluntly said that the people of Bihar want Nitish Kumar to remain the Chief Minister for the next 5 years and take Bihar forward on the path of development. He said that Nitish Kumar has started “7 Nishchay-3” and has set a target of making Bihar among the top-5 states of the country. Where Bihar has reached in the last 20 years is in front of everyone.
Counterattack on the claim ‘BJP will make Chief Minister’
On RJD spokesperson Shakti Yadav’s statement that BJP wants to remove Nitish Kumar and make him its Chief Minister, Shravan Kumar said that there is no truth in it. He reminded that even before the elections, similar claims were made that Nitish Kumar and JDU would be destroyed, but the public answered them all.
Not even a single JDU MLA broke down – Shravan Kumar
On RJD’s claim that many JDU MLAs are in touch with them. Shravan Kumar said that till date not even a single JDU MLA has defected. The opposite situation is that the opposition MLAs themselves are in touch with other parties. He sarcastically said that the opposition is saying such things only to increase its TRP.
On the question of Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar coming into politics, the minister said that his thinking about Bihar is good. The new generation should come into politics. The national president of the party has also said that Nishant should come forward, but it is up to him to decide when and how to start.
Reply to opposition on burqa issue
On the controversy over the Chief Minister removing the burqa from a doctor, Shravan Kumar said that the matter is being presented in a wrong manner. The Chief Minister wanted to inquire about your well being, but his voice was not coming clearly. He said that there is no comparison to the work that Nitish Kumar has done for the daughters. The large participation of women in education, police recruitment and government jobs is an example of this.
