Grand alliance parties face each other on 11 seats

Out of the Grand Alliance, RJD-Congress are face to face on 6 seats, CPI-Congress on three seats and RJD-VIP on two seats. The nomination process for the second phase of voting ends on Monday (19 October 2025). It is being told that talks between RJD and Congress leaders are at a standstill due to them claiming each other’s seats. RJD is continuously distributing symbols to its candidates.

RJD candidate in front of Rajesh Ram

RJD has fielded Suresh Paswan from Kutumba seat against Bihar Congress President Rajesh Ram. Rajesh Ram even said that Tejashwi Yadav is working against the alliance agreement and weakening the representation of Dalits. According to RJD, it has not assigned symbols to the candidates on Dinara, Dehri, Sasaram, Navinagar, Noh, Rafiganj, Tikari, Nawada, Rajauli, Runnisaidpur, Sursand and Bajpatti seats.

Congress vs RJD on these seats

Both Congress and RJD are claiming Dehri and Sasaram seats. RJD and Congress are face to face on Kahalgaon, Vaishali, Lalganj, Sikandra, Kutumba and Warisaliganj seats. Candidates of both Congress and CPI are in the fray from Bachhwara seat of Begusarai district. Because of this seat, CPI also fielded its candidates from Rosra, Biharsharif and Rajapakad.

VIP vs RJD on two seats

Similarly, VIP and RJD candidates are face to face from Tarapur and Chainpur seats. RJD handed over the symbol to Brij Kishore Bind from Chainpur seat two days ago, after which VIP also made its state president Balgovind Bind the candidate here. No leader of the Grand Alliance is openly speaking on this issue, due to which there is a situation of confusion among the constituent party workers.
