Amidst Bihar Assembly elections, Lalu Yadav’s party has taken action against rebel leaders. RJD has expelled 27 of its leaders from the party. These include the name of Ritu Jaiswal who has opened a front against the party.
All these leaders have been accused of being involved in anti-party activities. The leaders who have been expelled from the party include MLAs, MLCs, former MLAs and former candidates.

Bihar President of Rashtriya Janata Dal, Mangni Lal Mandal wrote in the expulsion letter, “On the basis of the authorized information received by the state headquarters of the party regarding anti-party conduct, activities and adverse active activities by the following party comrades as independent candidates or against the authorized candidates of Rashtriya Janata Dal in various assembly constituencies of Bihar Assembly General Election 2025, the following leaders/workers of the party have been removed from the primary membership of Rashtriya Janata Dal for six years.
