Varanasi Municipal Corporation in Uttar Pradesh has taken an important initiative, in which major roads of the city are being named after great men. Under which now a different picture is being seen by the people passing through the roadways of Varanasi. In fact, different roads in the urban areas of the district are being identified with the names of great men and gods.
A board has been put up by the departments and the names of great men or Gods associated with that area have been inscribed there. People passing through the route are also watching this new name with great attention. According to the officials, the intention behind this is that along with the beauty of the city, people should also become familiar with the great men. Keeping this objective in mind, this process has been started.
Different roads of Varanasi urban area have now been given new names. In this, first of all Andhrapul of Varanasi is named as Sitaram Marg, Lahurabir as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Marg, Ardali Bazar road as Swami Vivekananda Marg, Rajarshi Uday Pratap Singh Ju.Dev Marg at Bhojubir intersection, Maqbool Alam road as Birha singer Hiralal Yadav or Kodai Ki Chowki road as the road known as former BJP MLA Shyamdev Rai Chaudhary. The board has been installed. Along with the great man, the picture of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the local MLA is also included on this board.
Kajjakpura ROB will now be known as Baba Lat Bhairav
Recently, a proposal was presented in Varanasi Municipal Corporation, in which it was decided to name Kajjakpura ROB as Baba Lat Bhairav Flyover. This ancient religious place is situated in this area. Therefore, now this flyover will be known as Baba Lat Bhairav. Certainly, through this initiative, different routes and flyovers of Banaras are now getting a new identity.
