Hindu journalist murdered in Jessore
On Monday evening, another Hindu man was allegedly shot dead in public in Monirampur area of Jessore district of Bangladesh. The deceased has been identified as Rana Pratap Bairagi, who is also said to be the acting editor of a local newspaper.

However, police say that three cases were registered against Rana Pratap Bairagi in different police stations under murder, rape and Explosive Substances Act. This incident happened in a market in Monirampur upazila.
