Who is getting the most money?
First of all, if we talk about MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings is giving him only Rs 4 crore this time. Actually, it has been more than 5 years since Dhoni retired from international cricket, due to which as per BCCI rules, he was kept in the list of uncapped players in the mini auction. Because of this he will get only Rs 4 crore.
Rohit Sharma will play for Mumbai Indians and he will get an amount of Rs 16.30 crore in IPL 2026. Hardik Pandya is captaining Mumbai since the 2024 season.
Virat Kohli will get the most money among the three. Before the mega auction of 2025, RCB had retained Virat Kohli for Rs 21 crore. Royal Challengers Bangalore is going to pay him the same amount in IPL 2026 also.

Career of Virat, Rohit and Dhoni
Virat Kohli holds the record for scoring the most runs in the history of the Indian Premier League. He has so far played 267 matches and scored 8661 runs and is also the first batsman to touch the figure of eight thousand runs in IPL. Rohit Sharma is second in the list of highest run scorers, having scored 7,046 runs so far. Whereas MS Dhoni has scored 5439 runs in his career.
