The turn of career changes to school

According to media reports, Rohit Sharma started his schooling from the Hour Lady of Velankani High School, but in 1999 his coach Dinesh Lad advised him to take admission in Swami Vivekananda International School with better cricket facilities. Interestingly, the coach trained him without fees and from here Rohit’s professional cricket career was found.

College incomplete, cricket complete

After passing 12th, Rohit had enrolled for graduation at Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai, but the passion for cricket was such that he left studies and made cricket his full time career. At the age of 17–18, he held a bat on the field by saying goodbye to studies.

International career

Rohit made his debut in international cricket for India in 2007 and participated in the T20 World Cup in the same year. After winning the 2024 World Cup, he announced his retirement from T20 cricket. But he is still playing Test and ODI cricket.
