Now the politics of the state has heated up over the ropeway accident that took place in Rohtas district of Bihar on Friday (26 December), the main political party of the state, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has made a big attack on the Nitish Kumar government of the state through X Post (formerly Twitter). RJD has made serious allegations against the government like commission embezzlement.
The official X handle of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has attacked the government regarding the Rohtas ropeway accident. RJD wrote in X Post, “Another project fell victim to the commission of BJP Nitish government. The newly constructed ropeway in Rohtas collapsed.”
‘Crores of rupees lost in trial run’
RJD further said, “Crores of rupees were sacrificed in the trial run itself. This ropeway was going to be opened for the general public on January 1. God saved hundreds of innocent lives from the corrupt hungry wolves sitting in the government.

In fact, on December 26, a part of the newly constructed ropeway connecting Rohtasgarh Fort and Rohiteshwar Dham in Rohtas district collapsed during testing. Four trolleys and one tower have been damaged. However, the fortunate thing is that there was no loss of life or property in this incident.
What did the officials say on the ropeway accident?
Regarding this accident, officials said that a tower connected to the ropeway was also damaged during the trial. Four trolleys were also damaged in this accident. Officials said that the workers present on the spot saved themselves by showing timely caution.
Ropeway will be operated only after the trial is successful
Khurshid Karim, senior engineer of Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited, said that a team of experts is coming from Kolkata to investigate the matter. It is also said that until all the trials are successful and the officials are completely satisfied. Till then the ropeway will not be operated for the general public.
