Today is a very important day for the youth preparing for government jobs. Candidates dreaming of a job in Railways have one last chance left to apply. RRB has issued recruitment for 22,195 Group D posts and the last date to apply for this was fixed as March 2, which has now been extended to March 9. Candidates who have not been able to fill the form till now due to some reason can immediately complete the application process by visiting the official website rrbapply.gov.in.
Under this recruitment drive, a total of 22195 posts will be filled in different railway zones across the country. There are 3148 posts in Western Railway Mumbai, 3537 posts in Northern Railway New Delhi, 1979 posts in Central Railway Mumbai, 1036 posts in Southern Railway Chennai, 1246 posts in North Eastern Railway Gorakhpur and 1776 posts in Northeast Frontier Railway Guwahati. Apart from this, recruitment will be done on a large number of posts in other zones also. That means there is a chance to get a job in different parts of the country.
eligibility requirements
To participate in this recruitment, it is necessary for the candidate to have passed 10th from a recognized board. 10th pass youth can take advantage of this golden opportunity.
age limit
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age is 33 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2026. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in maximum age limit as per rules.

How much is the application fee?
Talking about fees, the application fee for General, OBC and EWS category candidates has been kept at Rs 500, while for SC and ST category the fee has been fixed at Rs 250. The special thing is that after appearing in the first phase examination, Rs 400 will be refunded to the candidates of General, OBC and EWS category. Whereas the full fees of SC and ST category candidates will be refunded.
How to apply?
The application process is completely online. Candidates first go to the official website rrbapply.gov.in. Log in by entering your Aadhar card or railway account information there. After this, fill all the requested information carefully. Upload the documents and deposit the fees as per your category. After submitting the form, take a print out of it and keep it safe.
