BCB removed the director from the post
Bangladesh Cricketers Welfare Association had clearly said that until BCB director Nazmul Islam is not removed from his post, no players will play in any league or tournament. BCB had to bow before him, they removed Nazmul from his post.
In fact, a few days ago, he had called former captain Tamim Iqbal an Indian agent, because he had advised the BCB officials to avoid making statements without thinking. Nazmul had said that if ICC does not change the schedule of Bangladesh’s matches then he will withdraw from the tournament. On this, Tamim had said that it is wrong to say anything in haste. In response to this, Nazmul made fun of Tamim by calling him an ‘Indian agent’.
