AAP demands- BJP MLAs should be suspended
At the same time, AAP MLAs allege that false propaganda is being made against Atishi on social media. The video that Kapil Mishra has tweeted on social media is fake and it has been tampered with, hence Kapil Mishra’s membership should be cancelled. AAP demands that the BJP MLAs who have retweeted this video should be suspended from the House for 6 months and on this demand, Aam Aadmi Party MLAs were also seen protesting in the House.
After the uproar, the proceedings of the Delhi Assembly were adjourned for 30 minutes.
What is the matter?
Let us tell you that in Delhi Government, Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma, Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa Minister Ravindra Indraraj Singh along with Minister Kapil Mishra, Abhay Verma had met the Assembly Speaker and demanded appropriate action by canceling the membership of Leader of Opposition Atishi and registering an FIR against him. In fact, Delhi government minister Parvesh Verma had strongly attacked opposition leader Atishi regarding a serious incident in the assembly.
He said that the martyrdom of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was being discussed in the Assembly, which is a matter of utmost respect and pride for the country and especially the Sikh community. During the discussion on such a sacred and historical topic, Opposition leader Atishi not only did not participate in the discussion, but she also allegedly used abusive language, which hurt the sentiments of the entire House.
