And articles were coming in the paper that I am celebrating Valentine’s Day in Goa with Tusshar Kapoor. I was a student. I was eating butter and bread because there was no money. My roommate and I were sitting and reading the article and laughing. I did not have Tushar’s phone number and what am I doing in Goa with Tushar. I am not even Tushar’s friend. I worked in the film Shor in the City. Later I came to know that this was a marketing strategy. But I didn’t know that at that time.
Let us tell you that Tusshar Kapoor and Radhika Apte had worked together in the film ‘Shor in the City’. This film was released in 2011. Romantic scenes of both were also shown in the film. After this, news of their affair started doing the rounds.
Radhika had talked about this earlier also. She had said, ‘I was in London and was learning dance. The song Saibo became a hit and they called me back for promotion. So he had spread the linkup rumor between me and Tushar. This was not true at all.
