Espionage in the world is no longer just a part of films. American intelligence agencies have revealed that Russia and China have started a new war against America, in which they are trying to trap people with the help of beautiful girls. This war is not an attempt to capture minds through guns or bombs, but through beauty, romance and greed. According to American National Security expert Jeff Staff, now Russia and China have started honeytrap American scientists, technology companies, defense engineers and people associated with research projects. This is psychological warfare, where human desires and weaknesses are being used as weapons.
Honeytrap is a technique in which a person extracts confidential information from the target under the pretext of attraction, romance or friendship. This method is also sometimes used in marriage or long-term relationships, where the real objective is not to love but to get the secret.
Social media becomes new ground for spies
British newspaper The Sun reports that American official James Mulvanon received friend requests on LinkedIn from many attractive Chinese women, who contacted him in the name of business networking. Two Chinese women were caught trying to enter a security conference in Virginia. In another incident, a Russian woman married an American aerospace engineer and is now active in American defense and crypto business. Her husband has not been able to know her real identity till date.
China’s social spy network
According to American investigative agencies, China has made its own citizens spies. Students, businessmen, professors, researchers and investors are all part of intelligence missions in some way or the other. In the words of one officer, we no longer have to look for the KGB agent hiding in some corner, because now the whole society is working against us. American reports show that China’s industrial espionage is causing a loss of $600 billion every year. He is stealing intellectual property from American startups in the name of innovation programs and pitch competitions.
Russia and the old Red Spy Girls
Russia has a long history of honeytraps. The most famous name is that of Anna Chapman, who was caught spying in America in 2010. Today she runs the Intelligence Museum in Moscow. Another Russian agent, Elia Rosa, had told that in Russian military academies, girls are taught how to attract men and get them to spill secrets. Recently, two Bulgarian women Tvetelina Gencheva and Tvetanka Doncheva were found to be linked to the Russian spy network in London.
America’s biggest espionage infiltration
Chinese agent Fang Fang was mentioned the most in the FBI report. He formed relationships with several American politicians between 2011 and 2015, including Congressman Eric Swalwell. She returned to China before the FBI could catch her. American intelligence agencies believe that this war has now gone beyond information theft. Russia and China are now trying to break the mental structure of American society. So that the feeling of trust, confidence and security within the country weakens.
