On Monday (March 24), Kremlin confirmed that Vladimir Putin had gifted a portrait to President Trump.
Russian President’s spokesman Dimitri Peskov said, “Earlier this month, President Donald Trump’s portrait was given to his special messenger Steve Witchoff.”

According to a report by the Associated Press, the United States special envoy Steve Witchoff talked about the gift for President Trump on behalf of the Russian President in an interview with Tucker Carlon last week. He said in the interview, “The US President was very impressed to see this portrait and he called it beautiful.”
