The Karnataka Police has rescued Russian Nina Kutiina and her two daughters from a natural cave in the Ramatirtha hills of Gokarna region of North Kannada district. This action was taken two days ago, when the police reached the cave after seeing footprints in the hills during patrolling.
Inside the cave, Nina slept with a daughter and the other girl was playing outside. The police also found some Russian books there. During interrogation, Nina said that she was living in the same cave for the last 14 days and has been meditating and meditating in the forests for the past several years.

Now Nina and her two daughters have been brought from Gokarna to Bangalore, where they have been kept in the Deportation Center after questioning in FRRO (Foreign Regional Regional Registration Office). The process of sending them back to Russia has been started due to visa violations.

Under Indian laws, foreigners living illegally have to bear the expenses of returning themselves, the government does not provide any financial help.
