We respect freedom of expression- Russian Embassy
The Russian Embassy said, ‘We respect freedom of expression and the editorial board’s right to publish authors with differing viewpoints, however the anti-Russian articles raise questions about whether the editorial board’s policy is influenced by the political agenda of anti-Russian forces rather than freedom of expression.’
The embassy also objected to the fact that this newspaper did not publish the news of the Moscow Format Consultation held on October 7, 2025 at all. It was well covered in the local media, but this newspaper did not give coverage to the news related to the consultation event.

Russian Embassy hits back at Pakistan
The Russian Embassy hit back at Pakistan and wrote, ‘Despite facing huge external pressure, the Russian economy has shown continuous progress. In 2024, Russia’s GDP is projected to grow by 4.1%, with some sectors such as manufacturing growing by as much as 8.5%. Russia’s unemployment rate is 2.5 percent and the expected average annual inflation rate for 2025 is 6.5 to 7 percent.
