US President Donald Trump wants no country in the world including Russia to do business with Russia. He has also threatened to impose additional tariffs, taking strictness on the countries doing so. Russia’s statement has now come out on this tremp of Trump. Russia says that sovereign countries have the right to choose their partner in business and economic cooperation based on their interests.
Russia’s response to America’s threat
Kremlin spokesperson Dimitri Peskov told reporters on Tuesday about the threat of America to India, we believe that sovereign countries should have the right to choose themselves in their business partners, trade and economic cooperation and to determine the ways of business and economic cooperation independently which is compatible with the interests of the country concerned.

India’s reply on America’s allegations
US President Trump accused India of buying a huge amount of Russian oil and selling it on huge profits. Also threatened to increase more in tariffs. A few hours later, India hit back at the US and European Union to improperly target India for the purchase of Russian crude oil.
Reacting to this, the official spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said, “India is being targeted by the US and the European Union on the issue of importing oil from Russia since the war started in Ukraine.” In fact, India started importing oil from Russia because traditional supply was diverted to Europe after the struggle. At that time, the US itself encouraged India to import such imports so that the stability of the world’s oil market remains strongly.
Randhir Jaiswal further wrote, “India imports to provide cheap and stable energy for its consumers. This is a compulsion for the situation in the global market. But it is important to note that the countries who are criticizing India, are doing business with Russia themselves. Like India, his business is not even necessary for his country.
