Global Technology Summit 2025: Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar took part in the Global Technology Summit (GTS) organized by Carnegie India on Friday. After this, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will also address this summit.
This conference is considered the platform for the most important dialogue on geo-technology in India. It is organized by Carnegie India and the Ministry of External Affairs. During this, External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar spoke openly on the current global situation.
This is said about relations with America
Foreign Minister Dr. S. at the Carnegie India Global Technology Summit. Jaishankar said, “Within a month of forming a new government in America, we have become an understanding that we will make a mutual trade agreement. We want to find a solution that is beneficial for both India and America. This conversation is not going to be stretched for a long time, because we had interacted for four years even before, but no agreement could be reached.”
He further said, “This time we are working with full seriousness and fast. We have got a good opportunity and we do not want to lose it. Our business team is very active.” Jaishankar also said, “Earlier we were accused that we delay in conversation. But now the situation is reverse, now we are moving the conversation fast and want to show at every level that this is a very important and important issue for us.”
‘Europe’s situation was very good five years ago’
Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said, “Europe’s situation was very good five years ago. It had made a good balance with America, Russia and China. But now there is tension in all three parts of that balance.” He said, “Many times when you walk very complex tricks, it seems that you are taking advantage from all sides, but finally the same situation can become the most difficult.” Dr. Jaishankar further said, “I want to say that in this difficult situation of Europe, the problems related to technology are also playing a big role.”
There is a change in America’s policy
External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar said, “I will say this much and perhaps no one will deny that America has now completely changed the way to form a relationship with the world and its effect is being seen in every field.”
He said, “According to me, its biggest impact will be in the field of technology. It is not just that America is the largest economy or at the forefront of technology, but also because now it is clear that technology is playing an important role in re -strengthening America again and further.”
China is growing rapidly
Foreign Minister Dr. S. at the Carnegie India Global Technology Summit. Jaishankar said, “The changes that have taken place in America in the last one year is a big turn and all of you are well aware of it.” He added, “Another change is also happening, which is slowly coming out and that is to move forward to China. It is not a sudden big change, but a gradual process.”
Jaishankar said, “Talking about business, it is associated with technology. There are some big moments, such as ‘deep seik’. I believe that the changes that are happening due to China are as deeper as the change of America and the truth is that both of them are also affecting each other.”
