Many big players from all over the world have given their names in the auction for the fourth edition of the South Africa T20 (SA20) League. There are more than 500 players in the auction process, out of which 300 players are from South Africa. Please tell that more than 800 players had registered for the auction.
The fourth edition of the SA20 League will start from December 26, in which a total of 6 teams will play. All teams will prepare their final team in the auction. Explain that a team can include a maximum of 19 players. There will be many big players in the auction, which will be monitored.
More than 800 players had registered for the auction. This number is the highest in the history of this tournament. Of these, 541 players were included in the auction. 300 players are from South Africa while 241 players are foreign.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final team’s 7 players Quinton Dickock, Gerald Koetzi, Enrique Norcia, Keshav Maharaj, Reeja Hendrix, Tabrej Shamsi and Otnil Bartman are also included in the auction.
South Africa recently defeated Australia to win the ICC Test Championship 2025 title. Players of this winning team are included in Lungi Angidi, Kyle Verine, Vian Mulder, David Bedingham, Tony de Jeetra and Dane Patterson.
Foreign players in sa20 auction
International cricket legendary Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, England fast bowler James Anderson are also in the auction. Apart from these, Mustafizur Rahman, Alex Hales and Moin Ali are also involved in the auction. Alex Hales recently scored a century in 40 balls in CPL, after which it is expected that he will get a hefty amount in the auction.

In 6 teams of the tournament, 84 players are vacant, for which more than 7 million dollars are available. A maximum of 25 foreign players can be sold in auction. Explain that each team can include a maximum of 19 players, it should have at least 9 South Africa players. There should be 7 international players, 2 under-23 South Africa’s players and a wildcard player.
