Saeed liked British culture, lifestyle and ways since childhood. He started speaking fluent English and started wearing suits and boots. But Mehrunima was domestic. There was a world of difference between his thinking and that of the actor. She was not what the actor wanted and after that, sourness started developing between Saeed and Madhur and the actor’s closeness with his co-actress Jennifer started increasing. After which the first marriage broke in 1966 and the second marriage took place. However, despite the divorce, he used to send money to Mehrunima, so that she could take care of the children. But there was no response from their side.
Regret after divorce
Let us tell you, when Saeed married for the second time, he regretted it. Because the second wife did not care about him. Didn’t take care. She just wanted to fulfill her dreams and was busy maintaining her beauty. In such a situation, he started remembering Mehrunima but he could not bring her and the children back to life.
On the other hand, Mehrunima, apart from being inclined towards radio and drama, was also fond of cooking. After the divorce, she sent her children to her mother in India and made a career in the field of cooking. While there, Saeed saw an article on Madhur Jaffrey, who had become a famous chef and had also launched a book of her own dishes. When Saeed saw this book, he was surprised. He sweetened his name with Mehrunima.

First wife had refused to meet him
However, Madhur also got married for the second time and started living a happy life. When Saeed once came to meet Madhur, he refused to see him but the children wanted to talk for the last time. Saeed had told what the children told him, ‘Till date, I cannot forget what my children told me. She told me that her new father knows the meaning of true love. He accepted Mehrunima the way she was. He loves her more than himself. He never tried to impose his wishes on her. He accepted her personality as it was.
