Sudarshan has achieved this feat in an eliminator match against Mumbai Indians. He has become the first player to touch the 700 runs in IPL 2025, so the orange cap is also with him.
Before the Eliminator match against Mumbai Indians, Sudarshan scored 679 runs in 14 matches. As soon as he scored 21 runs in the match against Mi, he touched the figure of 700 runs. Before him, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill are only 2 Indian batsmen who have scored 700 or more runs in an IPL season.
