Saif ali khan Attack Case: On January 16, actor Saif Ali Khan has made several major revelations in the charge sheet filed in his Bandra flat in a knife attack case. It is being told that Bangladeshi citizen Shariful Islam Shahzad, arrested in this case, was caught by employer Amit Pandey through digital payment at a Zerox Center in Andheri West.
Police got great help from CCTV
It was further told in the charge sheet that the face of Shariful Islam was captured in the CCTV camera installed in Saif Ali Khan’s building Satguru Sharan Building. The police got the first lead in the case only after that footage was matched to the facial recognition system (FRS) at Andheri railway station. Police said that the investigators then investigated the reverse CCTV footage and the CCTV footage of Andheri West on January 9 was also seen sitting on the back seat on the bike with a person. Then the police reached the motorcycle rider. He was identified as Amit Pandey.
The attacker used to do housekeeping work
Pandey told the police that he had hired Shariful as a housekeeping staff. The police then showed the picture of the attacker to Pandey in CCTV footage, Pandey recognized him and said that its name is Vijay Das. After receiving the mobile number of the attacker, the police found Das from Hiranandani area of Thane, where he was hidden behind the labor camp.
The attacker hid in the same area after the attack
The police told in the charge sheet that the accused Shariful had asked for one crore rupees after entering Saif’s house, but it is not mentioned in the charge sheet how he entered the actor’s flat in Satguru Sharan apartment on 16 January. The accused was captured in CCTV camera. In which he would climb up at 01.37 am on January 16 and then appears to come down at 02.37. After the attack, when the actor’s housemates and the householder were nervous, the accused remained hiding somewhere in the same area for the next one hour.
Police found evidence at the actor’s house
According to the charge sheet, the accused was seen coming out of the premises of Bharti Villa Building in CCTV footage at 3:37 am on 16 January. But no one came to know about him. The Bandra police team reached the spot and a siege was conducted to gather important evidence scattered on the floor in the Satguru Sharan apartment.
This was how the investigation of the incident was done
According to the charge sheet, the crime site was investigated after the incident with the help of a forensic mobile van, fingerprint experts and a dog team. After which 29 samples have been recovered from the spot, such as a piece of knife, blood samples lying on the spot, blood stained pillow cover, blood stained mattress cover, blood stained load cover, blood stained cotton pad, blood stained tissue paper, plain sample of cotton cloth. “
