Sajjad Barkwal lashed out at Khawaja Asif
Sajjad Barkawal said can we say this? Can we have the courage to say such a thing about a neighbor who is our neighbor? Our customs, our culture, our success, our religion, our faith, we should be in harmony with them and who are they? They are also Pashtuns, here too there are Pashtuns.
‘They have been following us for 46 years’
He said that you are calling a neighbor an enemy who has a date with us and we have made so many sacrifices. We have been fighting with the super powers and today he (Khwaja Asif) is telling them (Taliban) that this (Afghanistan) is our enemy country. Mr. Speaker, sit in the committee and talk about peace with the people, who have fueled this war for 46 years, they have been after us for 46 years and it is our Pashtun community. They are destroying his species.
Sajjad said that in 1979 we were told that this was jihad and now they are telling us in 2024-25 that this was terrorism and we used to fight this war with dollars. This is a statement on the record of Khwaja Asif, so sir, when the speaker talks out of the agenda, there are so many things that he will not be able to stand up.
