Salman Khan’s father and veteran Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan has turned 90. On this special occasion, the Khan family hosted a family function. Arpita Khan Sharma has shared a picture with father Salim on Instagram and has also written a heart touching caption.
Arpita shared an emotional post on father Salim’s birthday.
In the picture shared by Arpita Khan on Instagram on her father’s 90th birthday, Salim Khan is seen with his wife Salma Khan, daughter Arpita, son-in-law and actor Ayush Sharma and his grandchildren Ahil and Ayat. While sharing this photo, Arpita has also written a heart touching caption for her father.
Arpita wrote, “Happy 90th Birthday, Daddy, we are truly blessed to celebrate you today and every day. You are a living legend, and we are your legacy. Thank you for giving us wings to fly, thank you for giving us calm in the storm, thank you for being the strength we all need, thank you for teaching the value of family to all of us, and thank you for always being there for us.” Thank you for being our galaxy. Salim Khan is the father of Salman Khan
One of the most prolific screenwriters of Indian cinema, Salim Khan is best known as a part of the legendary duo Salim-Javed. Together with Javed Akhtar, he shaped the films of the 1970s and early 80s, including Sholay, Deewaar, Don, Zanjeer, Trishul, Kaala Patthar and Sita Aur Geeta. His work created the Angry Young Man era and helped Amitabh Bachchan become a superstar.
Whereas Salim Khan’s family is one of the most prestigious families of Bollywood. He has four children from his first wife Salma Khan: Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri. In 1981, he married actress Helen. Later Salim and Helen adopted Arpita, the youngest member of the family. Arpita is married to Ayush Sharma and the couple has two children.
