Last Tuesday, Pakistan had to face a close defeat of 2 wickets at the hands of England. The Pakistan team became complacent in front of Harry Brook’s century innings of 100 runs, due to which its path to reach the semi-finals is looking very difficult. Pakistan’s first match against New Zealand was washed out due to rain. Now Pakistan is dependent on other teams to reach the last-4 and captain Salman Aga is being trolled for this performance of the team. People have started targeting even Salman’s family. Pak captain’s wife Saba Manjar had to come forward on this issue.

After Pakistan lost the match, Saba Manzar gave a strong message through Instagram to those who were abusing her and her son on social media.

Saba Manzar wrote on Instagram, “Abusing me or my son will not win you the World Cup, Pakistani fans.” Many former cricketers have also criticized this kind of behavior of Pakistani fans.

Harry Brook was heavy on Pakistan

Batting first, Pakistan team had scored 164 runs. Great batsmen like Phil Salt, Jos Buttler had flopped for the England team which came to chase the target. At one time, the Pakistan team had a good hold on the match, but captain Harry Brook changed the course of the entire match by playing a historic inning of 100 runs. In the end England won by 2 wickets.

Is Pakistan out?

After 2 matches in the Super-8 stage, Pakistan has only one point and has only one match left, which it has to play against Sri Lanka on 28th February. There is still hope for Pakistan to go to the semi-finals. Now Pakistan will have to defeat Sri Lanka by a big margin and also hope that New Zealand does not win its next two matches.
