Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ was a blockbuster hit. In this film, Malaika Arora gave the item number ‘Munni Badnaam’. His song was a tremendous hut. Malaika had spread her dance with her dance. Now the director of the film Abhinav Kashyap told that Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan did not want Malaika to do the iconic dance number.
Arbaaz had problems with Malaika’s clothes
In a conversation with ‘Screen’, Abhinav said that Arbaaz Khan was not comfortable after Malaika got the tag of the item girl. He further said, ‘Arbaaz did not like that his wife got the tag of the item girl. Arbaaz and Salman may say anything, they are conservative Muslims. There were also differences with Salman over Malaika’s outfit. They wanted their women to be covered. That is why he did not want Malaika to do the item number.
Papad had to be rolled to convince Arbaaz
Abhinav told how Malaika remained on her point. He said, ‘Malaika is a strong and independent woman. She chooses her things herself. When he got this offer, it took him some time to convince Arbaaz. Malaika told Arbaaz that it is not a vulgar. There are only dance in it. In this song, only the family is nearby. What are you afraid of? And this song had broken many records.
Please tell that Malaika and Arbaaz got married in 1998. In 2002, he had a son Arhan. Malaika and Arbaaz were divorced in 2016. Now both have moved forward in their life. Arbaaz married Shura Khan. Arbaaz and Shura are going to be parents.
