A report surfaced said that the superstar was in preliminary talks with directors for his upcoming superhero film.
Samantha will be seen in the film with Salman

There are reports, South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be cast along with Salman in this superhero film. If reports are to be believed, Salman Khan has been in talks with Raj and DK for the last three months for a big budget film, in which Salman will be seen in the role of a superhero. Meanwhile, now news has come out that Raj’s wife and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is being cast opposite Salman Khan for this film.
Mid Day, in one of its reports, quoted a source as saying that Samantha’s name is at the forefront for Salman’s upcoming project with Raj and DK. It was further told in the same report that talks are being held with Samantha. He has a good creative equation with the makers and feels that he is fit for this role. Interestingly, if the reports are true, this project will be Salman’s first project with Raj and DK.

Talking about Salman’s next release, he will be seen in ‘Battle of Galwan’. This film is based on the real conflict between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galwan Valley. It is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, and also stars Chitrangada Singh. Earlier it was scheduled to release on 17 April 2026, but now according to reports it may be delayed and it may release on 14 August 2026 on the occasion of Independence Day.
