Samsung’s first tri-fold phone Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is nearing its launch. The company has already teased it in South Korea and now its firmware is being tested in America. According to reports, unlocked firmware testing of this phone is being done in America. This means that preparations are being made to launch it in America also. Apart from America, Samsung will also launch it in South Korea, China, Singapore, Taiwan and UAE.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will have a 10-inch main screen
The Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to have a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, which will be 10 inches when fully unfolded. It can be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is expected to be paired with 16GB RAM and 256GB-1TB storage. Samsung’s first trifold phone will run on One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. It will have two hinges, due to which the phone will fold into three parts. When completely unfolded, its thickness can be 4.2 mm and when folded it can be about 14 mm.

It is almost certain that Galaxy Z TriFold will have a 200MP primary camera. The remaining two lenses of its triple camera setup can be 12MP ultrawide and 50MP telephoto sensor. Two sensors of 10-10MP can be provided in its front. Talking about battery capacity, it can be given a battery pack of 5,437mAh, which will be much bigger than the 4,400mAh battery of Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Speculations of launch on December 5
There are speculations that this phone will be launched on December 5, but it has not been officially confirmed. Initially, Samsung is planning to sell only 20,000-30,000 units. Right now, instead of focusing on sales, the company wants to showcase its technological skills. Its price has not been officially revealed, but it is believed that it will be launched at a price of around Rs 2.60 lakh. This phone will compete with Mate XT of Chinese company Huawei. Huawei’s Mate XT is the world’s first trifold phone and its second generation model has also been launched.
